Just to let you know we are going to be rotavating and seeding some additional areas of Haven Green to increase the areas of flowers including overseeding the bulb areas to lengthen the display of flowers.

The areas are now created. It’s possible there will not be much flower in the first year. The second year should be much better. Adjustments can easily be made if areas don’t work.

Before the grass cutting season starts we will add some plastic posts to the corners of the plots so the grass cutters know which areas not to cut. These are temporary and will be removed after the first few cuts once they have got used to the new meadow strips. We shouldn’t need them next year.
